IF you have dry skin then you know it can be a nightmare - it can feel sore, tight and irritant. That is why we have hunted high and low to try out some body lotion that all claim to relief and repair dry skin. In the end we found it was the good ol' products that we know and love... just with NEW versions.
And in third place is the new Vaseline® Intensive Rescue™ Moisture Locking Body Lotion.
This unfragranced lotion relieves and soothes dry itchy skin and ultimately improves your skin's appearance.
I swear by Vaseline and this product does not disappoint. It rubs in (although not instantly, but soon after) without feeling sticky or greasy. With regular use it can help to prevent dry skin flare ups as well as to calm the effects of wind and cold weather. Use in the morning after your shower and in the evening before you go to bed for added benefits.
Vaseline® have also made sure they look after you gents - with their Cooling Hydration Body Lotion for Men. As you push your body to the limits during intense exercise (such as rugby), your skin is often left feeling overheated and dehydrated. This lotion is perfect for refreshing and replenishing mineral in the skin lost during workouts.
Second place goes to... new Dove Indulgent Nourishment Body Lotion with shea butter.
Dove is another amazing product which makes your skin feeling silky soft and this body lotion is just as good! It comes out in small amounts so you do not get that mass of lotion with nowhere else to put it. The blend of shea butter smells divine and it glides onto the skin effortlessly - we love it!
And the winner is... Dermatological E45 Intense Recovery Moisture-Control Lotion.
Although we love all of these body lotions but E45 won us over due to its cooling and refreshing feel once placed onto the skin - a great relief for very dry skin.
It is perfume free so does not have that heavenly smell that the Dove body lotion has but the effectiveness of the product is what matters overall. As it glides onto the skin, it locks in moisture to help keep skin better protected against moisture loss without that horrible greasy or sticky feeling – the perfect relief for sore, tight and irritant skin.
These are three fabulous body lotions and there is not much between them - we highly recommend them all.
