FANS of rugby and the British & Irish Lions…you are invited to join a host of Lion legends at The Pink Lion in the heart of London's West End, for a week of rugby fuelled entertainment as Thomas Pink unveils its British & Irish Lions Collection as the new Official Outfitters for the iconic rugby team.
For one week only, Thomas Pink will be turning The Golden Lion on King Street, London SW1 into The Pink Lion, to celebrate the launch of its British & Irish Lions collection. The venue which has been renamed for the duration, will be transformed into a mecca for stylish rugby fans featuring a stellar line-up of evening entertainment, open to all.
Rugby Unplugged has been given exclusive access to each event, so for you who are not in spitting distance of London, but are scattered around the globe, we will be reporting back daily.
From Wednesday through Friday, head over to enjoy not just a pint and that inimitable rugby atmosphere, but also grab a bite to eat from The Pink Lion's Celebrity chef!
Following his success on Celebrity Masterchef, former England Rugby Captain, Phil Vickery has created a special menu to celebrate the collaboration. Fans will be invited to tuck into signature dishes inspired by the UK and Ireland such as cockle and bacon tartlets, colcannon and sausages or mini Yorkshire puddings with rare beef, horseradish & watercress. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the rugby legend donning his chequered apron from the kitchen.

KICKING off the celebrations, new Lions head coach Warren Gatland will make a special guest appearance as pub landlord, where he will be serving pink pints behind the bar before unveiling the new Thomas Pink Lions Collection.
This event is by invite only, but Rugby Unplugged has exclusive access and we will bringing all the happenings from the evening.

THE legendary British & Irish Lion and England Rugby forward, Roger Uttley, who started all four tests against the Springboks in 1974 on the undefeated Lions Tour, and went on to coach both England and the Lions, will be at The Pink Lion on Thursday evening.
Along with a host of other legends, the former Lions will share anecdotes and reveal dressing-room tales at this exclusive venue at The Pink Lion Lock-In. So make your way to St James to share a small libation and some great banter.

ON the final night of The Pink Lion, you will be able to enjoy the greatest -as well as best forgotten- moments of British & Irish Lions Tours of yesteryear.
If moments like this make you punch the air in delight, make sure you arrive early to grab the bests seats in the house. You can sit back, relax, enjoy a pint or 3 of a Friday evening and watch some historic matches on the big screen.
AS the Official Outfitter for the team’s 125th Year anniversary Tour to Australia, Thomas Pink has created an exclusive menswear Collection which will be available to the public from October 8th 2012. Signature items include a velvet smoking jacket, vintage print merino wool and silk scarf as well as stocking fillers such as gold plated cufflinks, socks, ties and boxers.
The Lions Collection by Thomas Pink will be available to purchase across all Thomas Pink stores, Pink online, and select John Lewis stores and online from October 8th 2012. Proceeds of The Lions Collection will go towards Wooden Spoon, leading children’s charity of British and Irish rugby.
